An update on draft Local Planning Scheme No.7

Thank you to everyone that provided feedback on the draft Local Planning Scheme No. 7 (LPS 7).

Following a three-month stakeholder and community engagement period, the City received a total of 470 submissions and 162 attendees to the five drop-in information sessions.

We are now in the process of reviewing the feedback and preparing modifications to the draft LPS 7, which is expected to be presented to Council in the coming months.

Following Council’s consideration, it will be submitted to the Western Australian Planning Commission and a final decision will be made by the Minister for Planning.
