Proposed Penalty Units Amendment Local Law 2022

The City of South Perth invites comments on proposed amendments to the Penalty Units Local Law 2003.

The purpose of this local law is to make amendments to the City of South Perth Penalty Units Local Law 2003 which prescribes the value of a penalty unit.

The effect of this local law is to set the value of a penalty unit, which is to be used in conjunction with the modified penalties expressed in other City of South Perth local laws.

Hard copies of the proposed local law are available to view during business hours at the City’s Civic Centre and City’s Libraries.

Written submissions should be made to the Chief Executive Officer, City of South Perth, Cnr Sandgate St & South Tce, South Perth WA 6151 or emailed to enquiries@southperth.wa.gov.au.

Submissions will be received by 4pm, Friday 7 October 2022.
