Abjornson Street school crossing complete

It is easier and safer for Curtin Primary School students to cross Abjornson Street in Manning following the recent completion of a school crossing.

The month-long project involved reconstructing the existing traffic island near the corner of Gillion Street, which was not wide enough for a traffic warden to operate safely.

Path realignment, relocation of a guardrail and widening of the northbound section of Abjornson Street also helped to ensure the crossing was brought up to the required standard.

Main Roads WA installed the bollards, signs and line markings.
