Broadleaf Weed Spraying – Parks and Reserves

Subject to weather conditions, weed control treatments will be carried out at all parks and reserves within the City of South Perth from 14 June 2022. 

Spraying will start on Sir James Mitchell Park at the Ellam Street, work down past the Narrows Bridge, before continuing to other parks and reserves around the city.

Spraying on Sir James Mitchell Park will take approximately four days and the remainder of the City will be completed within four weeks, weather permitting.

Appropriate signage will be displayed on the moving vehicle, staff vests and in strategic locations whilst the work is being undertaken, with the spraying operation being monitored by City officers.
