Aerial mosquito larvicide treatment - 3 February 2022

*Update*  This has been postponed to Thursday 3 February due to high winds on earlier days.

In accordance with the City’s Mosquito Management Plan, due to recent high tides inundating the wetlands, the larval activity now requires treatment.
 
The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on Thursday 3 February 2022 between 9am and 5pm. We will be using Vectobac G be applied at label rates. 

The treatment will occur in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.

Exact treatment time will depend on Perth Air Traffic Control clearance
