Aerial mosquito treatment - 19 November 2021

In accordance with the City’s Mosquito Management Plan, due to recent high tides inundating the wetlands, larval activity now requires treatment.

The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest today, 19 November 2021 between 10am and 5pm. The treatment will occur in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.

Vectobac G to be applied at label rates

Exact treatment time will depend on Perth Air Traffic Control clearance.
