Aerial mosquito treatment - 8 March 2021

In accordance with the City’s Mosquito Management Plan, due to recent high tides inundating the wetlands, larval activity now requires treatment.

The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on 8 March 2021 between 9am and 4pm. The treatment will occur in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.

Vectoprime FG will be applied at label rates https://www.valentbiosciences.com/publichealth/products/vectoprime/.

Exact treatment time will depend on Perth Air Traffic Control clearance.
