RAF

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Monday 15 March for the following purposes:

To consider the item concerning the  Recreation and Aquatic Facility (RAF) that was deferred from the February 2021 Ordinary Council Meeting and to receive any reviews on the Recreation and Aquatic Facility Business Case.

The Business Plan is a statutory requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 and must be approved by Council so that the City can work towards securing the remaining funding for the RAF project.

Decisions about the final budget for the RAF and its design will be made by Council at a later date. The City is committed to conducting due diligence at every stage of the project, and this will continue as the project progresses.

Members of the public can ask questions of Council and/or make a deputation at the Special Council Meeting on matters on the agenda using the Public Question Time Submission form and/or deputations form which must be submitted no later than 24 hrs prior to the meeting.

The Special Council Meeting will be held in the City’s Council Chamber, cnr Sandgate St & South Tce, South Perth, commencing at 7pm, Monday 15 March 2021. Social distancing measures will be in place.
