Words with Wine heads online

Although the City’s libraries remain temporarily closed due to to COVID-19, they are pleased to offer the first ONLINE Words with Wine event on Wednesday 29 April.

Words with Wine is a regular event held where attendees listen to a published author speak about their work and read an excerpt or two. Traditionally attendees would attend one of the City's libraries and enjoy a glass of wine, but for this online version we invite you to BYO wine and cheese and click into the LIVE event using the link we will send you once you have registered.

Local author Emily Paull will be launching the online series as she discusses her debut collection of short stories ‘Well Behaved Women’.

The author voices a chorus of characters that reveal and re-evaluate the expectations of women in Australia today - after all, well-behaved women rarely make history.
