Public Art Masterplan - have your say

News Update 9 March 2020
Public Art

The City is seeking feedback from the community to inform the development of our first Public Art Masterplan.

The City of South Perth is home to a wide range of public art including sculptures, murals, community art projects and temporary and ephemeral (short-lived) artworks.

The Masterplan will provide a strategy to manage the delivery and distribution of current and future public art across the whole of the City.

Aligning with the Cultural Plan 2019-2023, the Masterplan will build upon the achievements of the Public Art Strategy.

In developing the plan, we seek to identify:

  • stories, personalities and features of our unique neighbourhoods to contribute to a sense of identity and community
  • local opportunities or challenges that may influence the type of public art that can be achieved
  • potential projects that will develop a coherent and connected collection of public art and inform future resource allocation

Complete the survey on Your Say South Perth and share your ideas.

Feedback closes 4pm, 6 April 2020.
