Road works on Welwyn Ave, Manning begin 16 March

The City will begin road works on Welwyn Avenue between Bradshaw Crescent and Conochie Crescent in Manning on 16 March 2020.

In accordance with the 2019/20 Capital Works Program, the works will take approximately 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works will be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

For the safety of road users and personnel, the road will be closed at certain times. On-street parking and parking along the shops facing Welwyn Avenue may be restricted at times to facilitate the works. Traffic management, including detour signs will be present to assist motorists navigate through or around the worksite. Please follow all signage and take care when driving in the area.

The works may also involve the removal and replacement of kerbing. If residents have reticulation on the kerb line it will be temporarily cut, capped and relocated away from the kerb. A notice will be placed in letterboxes upon reinstatement of reticulation. The City requests that residents test their systems within a two week period of receipt of the notice and if they have any issues, please notify the City as soon as possible.
