Extraordinary election ballot papers issued this week

Ballot papers for the upcoming extraordinary election in the Moresby Ward will be posted this week.

An extraordinary postal election will be held on Friday 28 February 2020 in the City of South Perth to fill the vacancy of Moresby Ward Councillor, following the election of Greg Milner as Mayor in the October 2019 election. The term is two years ending October 2021.

Election packages will only be sent to the electors on the Moresby Ward of the City of South Perth local government electoral roll.

Replacement packages can be obtained from the City of South Perth, cnr South Terrace & Sandgate Street, South Perth during business hours prior to election day and between 8am and 6pm on election day if the package is not received or should any papers be missing. 

Completed postal voting packages must reach the Returning Officer by 6pm on election day, Friday 28 February 2020.

You may hand deliver your package to an electoral officer at the City of South Perth, cnr South Terrace & Sandgate Street, South Perth during business hours before election day or at the polling place between 8am and 6pm on election day.

Chief polling place: City of South Perth, cnr South Terrace & Sandgate Street, South Perth 6151.

Vote counting will begin at 6pm at the chief polling place listed above.
