Report released on proposed modifications to draft South Perth Activity Centre Plan

News Update 2 December 2019
South Perth Activity Centre Plan

A report on the proposed modifications to the draft South Perth Activity Centre Plan (ACP) and proposed Town Planning Scheme Amendment No. 61 (Amendment No. 61), along with the consultation outcomes report are now available on the City's website.

The City received a very good response during the public consultation period and submissions have provided a deeper understanding of the views of stakeholders and community members. Feedback has informed a number of proposed modifications to the draft ACP and proposed Amendment No. 61.

The reports will be considered by Council at the Agenda Briefing at 5.30pm, Tuesday 10 December 2019 and the Ordinary Council Meeting at 7pm, Tuesday 17 December 2019.

The full Agenda Briefing documentation will be available by 5pm, Friday 6 December on the City’s website. Hard copies will also be available at the Civic Centre and libraries.

Members of the public may address Council by making a deputation at the Agenda Briefing.

If Council endorses the modified draft ACP and proposed Amendment No. 61, a copy of the modified documents, along with copies of all feedback received, will be sent to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) for final approval.

Council will receive a further report on the outcomes of consultation on draft policy P321 once the draft ACP and proposed Amendment No. 61 are approved by the WAPC.
