CWSP Foreshore Masterplan recognised with award

In 2017, the City commissioned URBIS to work on a Masterplan for the Clontarf - Waterford - Salter Point Foreshore (CWSP Foreshore) to guide future management of the area.

The plan was recently recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (ALIA) with a landscape planning award. 

Judges described the plan as “[satisfying] the community’s yearning for nature” and providing “a new adaptive landscape approach to land management addressing environmental issues, aboriginal culture and heritage values, whilst consolidating existing facilities and infrastructure”.

The masterplan was adopted by Council in April 2019 and the City is currently developing a plan to implement its key strategies and initiatives.
