Libraries host Flannie Day on 7 August to raises awareness of homelessness and hunger

On Wednesday 7 August 2019 our library staff will be wearing a flannelette shirt for Flannie Day to help raise awareness and take action on homelessness and hunger in Australia.

In honour of Homelessness Week 4-10 August, the community is invited to participate in Flannie Day and donate canned food at South Perth or Manning Library between 5-10 August. All donations will be delivered to Southcare for their outreach program for people in need.

Southcare is a not-for-profit business that provides personalised aged home care and community services that supports living with dignity and respect in your own home and community.
