The City launches Click, Learn and Connect: Digital literacy training for over 50s

Do you know someone who is an older member of our community and wants assistance tackling the digital world? 

City of South Perth Libraries are offering free ‘Click, Learn and Connect: Digital literacy training for over 50s’ workshops at both Manning and South Perth libraries.

Information sessions will preview the workshops, for those who would like more information before booking a place.

Information sessions will be held on 20 June at 10am at Collier Park Village, 16 Morrison St, Como and on 26 June at Manning Library, 2 Concochie Crescent, Manning. RSVP essential. Visit the events section of the City’s website or call South Perth Library on 9474 0800 or Manning Library on 9474 0822.

The workshops will include: 

  • The absolute basics
  • Getting to know your device
  • Getting started online
  • Staying safe and online skills.

Each of the nine sessions has a limit of eight people per session, facilitated by an expert, with laptop computers provided.

Sessions start on Tuesday 16 July (Manning) and Thursday 18 July (South Perth).

You don’t need to attend all sessions – you can pick and choose those relevant to you. There will be nine workshops at each location. 

Bookings are required for workshop attendance as places are limited, so contact South Perth Library on 9474 0800 or Manning Library on 9474 0822.
