Community celebrates Manning

News Update 1 April 2019
Hello Manning
The City of South Perth launched its inaugural free community festival, Hello Manning on the weekend of 30 and 31 March 2019 at Manning Community Centre.

Approximately 5,000 people attended the two-day celebration which showcased the suburb of Manning and its surrounding areas.

Across the weekend festival-goers were treated to a selection of live music and entertainment, activations and presentations by local community groups and businesses, a family outdoor movie night, food trucks, as well as children’s games and activity zones including a youth chill out zone. Unique temporary art installations included Andy Faraday’s Dark Truck interactive Unselfie Project and ANTaR’s (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander advocacy organisation) Sea of Hands project.

Photos from the event are available on the City's Flick page.
