Volunteer at the Old Mill
Are you looking to give back to your community? Do you have three hours to spare once a month?
The City of South Perth invites you to join the Old Mill volunteer team, a unique volunteer experience at an iconic heritage site.
As 2019 marks 190 years since the Swan River Colony was established, the Old Mill in South Perth stands proud and survives as a remnant from the first decade of European settlement in Western Australia.
Volunteers assist with the Old Mill opening hours, conducting tours and answering enquiries related to the Old Mill on weekends and public holidays .
Interested volunteers are currently being sought for rostered hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays between 1-4pm.
If you enjoy meeting and conversing with people and would like to get involved in keeping this important icon alive and open, please contact our Local History Officer on 9367 5788 or email oldmill@southperth.wa.gov.au.
