Road Rehabilitation Works – Kent Street

In accordance with the 2018/19 Capital Works Program, the City of South Perth will be undertaking road rehabilitation works at the following location:

Kent Street (North-bound) between Manning Road and Beazley Avenue
Commencing 18 February 2019

The works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works are scheduled at night to avoid major disruption to high-volume daytime traffic on Kent Street.  Works are scheduled between 7pm to 7am.

Activities taking place at night include:

• Milling of the existing road surfacing
• Resurfacing with new asphalt
• Installation of new drainage covers
• Traffic Management

Equipment and vehicle movements may create noise. To minimise disturbance to the community an out-of-hours Noise Management Plan has been prepared by the Head Contractor, Asphaltech, and approved by the City of South Perth.

For the safety of road users and personnel, temporary lane closures and detours will be implemented to facilitate the works. Please follow all signage and take care when driving in the area.
