Road Rehabilitation Works – Manning Road, Karawara
In accordance with the 2018/19 Capital Works Program, the City of South Perth will be undertaking road rehabilitation works at the following locations:
Manning Rd (West-bound) between Gillon Street & Elderfield Road
Commencing 4 February 2019
The works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting. The majority of works are scheduled to take place at night to avoid major disruption to high-volume daytime traffic on Manning Road.
Works are scheduled:
- Day time working hours - 9am to 2pm
- Night time working hours - 9pm to 6am.
Manning Road (Westbound) between Kent Street & Gillon Street
Commencing 4 February 2019
The works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete. The works are scheduled at night to avoid major disruption to high-volume daytime traffic on Manning Road. Works are scheduled to take place between 9pm to 6am.
Activities taking place at night for both works include:
- Milling of the existing road surface
- Resurfacing with new asphalt
- Kerb replacement
- Installation of new drainage covers
- Traffic management
For the safety or road users and personnel, temporary lane closures and detours will be implemented to facilitate the works.
