Millennium Kids promote waste free movement at City's Australia Day Celebration Zone

The City of South Perth is a proud supporter of Millennium Kids, a youth led not-for-profit charity working to empower thousands of young people to have their say about the environment, leading to hundreds of inspiring youth-led initiatives that have contributed significantly to the environment and communities in WA and beyond.

Millennium Kids will be attending the City's 2019 Australia Day Celebration Zone to help monitor the waste generated on Australia Day and educate visitors on ways to reduce waste.

A report on the types of waste generated on Australia Day will be presented to the City and used to help manage waste at future City events.
