Draft Local Planning Policy P320 ‘Assessment of Significant Obstruction of Views in Precinct 13 – Salter Point’

The City has resolved to prepare a new draft local planning policy PP320 ‘Assessment of Significant Obstruction of Views in Precinct 13 – Salter Point’, and it is now available for comment.

The draft policy provides guidance for the assessment of development applications that impact on views of the Canning River within Precinct 13 - Salter Point. The draft policy will provide greater certainty for both residents and developers regarding the assessment of whether views of the Canning River from existing buildings will be significantly obstructed by new development. The draft policy provides clear requirements and criteria that new developments must satisfy in order to obtain development approval. 

Submissions 

To view draft Policy P320 and to make a comment online, visit the City’s Your Say South Perth community engagement portal at yoursay.southperth.wa.gov.au.

Hard copies of the revised policy are available to view during business hours at the Civic Centre and City’s libraries.
