Perth Airport works

Residents are to be advised of upcoming Perth Airport works which are part of the Forrestfield-Airport Link (FAL) project.

The FAL project involves tunnelling under the airfield and runways at Perth Airport. To enable the next stages of the project, both the main runway (03/21) and the cross runway (06/24) will be temporarily restricted at different times throughout October and November 2018.

The current works schedule will require the following closures:

Main Runway 03/21 restrictions Cross Runway 06/24 restrictions
 
  • 23 October - 2 November 2018
  • 11 November and 21 November 2018
*Please note that these closures may change or vary due to operational requirements.

During the works, residents may notice temporary changes to flight frequencies (either an increase or a decrease), depending on which runway is closed, however, the total number of flights arriving and departing from Perth Airport will not change.
