Draft Clontarf Waterford Salter Point Foreshore Masterplan information session

The Draft Masterplan for the Clontarf Waterford Salter Point (CWSP) Foreshore is out for public comment.

There will be an opportunity to find out more at a community information session on Thursday 30 August. Following a brief presentation, the consultants from URBIS and City staff will be available to answer questions and discuss the Masterplan in further detail.

The Draft Masterplan was developed following months of research and community and stakeholder engagement including surveys, community information sessions and meetings.

The Draft Masterplan addresses current and future foreshore management issues; allows for unique landscaping design that embraces the changing environment; supports environmental values to enhance native flora and fauna species; provides recommendations for the upgrade of existing facilities and infrastructure; establishes key areas for sport activities, passive recreation and nature spaces; focuses on connectivity and accessibility along the entire CWSP Foreshore area; recognises aboriginal cultural values and heritage significance of the area.

Feedback closes 4pm, Monday 3 September 2018.
