Changes to parking on South Perth Esplanade

In May 2017 the City of South Perth introduced a 12-month ‘First hour free’ parking trial in areas along South Perth Esplanade, South Perth. 

Given the availability of free car parking in the Mends Street precinct, the trial will come to an end from 30 June 2018. 

The City has identified that there is sufficient parking available to cater for the present parking demands in the area.

Parking options include;

• ‘First hour free’ parking in the undercover South Shore Shopping Centre paid car park off South Perth Esplanade 

• Free time restricted parking on Mends Street

Drivers are encouraged to read parking signs carefully.
