Draft joint Bike Plan out for comment

News Update 19 February 2018

The City of South Perth and the Town of Victoria Park have released a draft bike plan following extensive community and user group consultation.

This is the first time two local governments have worked together to deliver a bike plan in Western Australia, benefiting not only the people living in the area but the whole cycling community.

The plan aims to address the needs of cyclists and seeks to further develop the existing cycling infrastructure whilst making the network and facilities better connected across the two local government areas in order to make cycling safer and more convenient. Consultation on the draft plan is open until 4pm, Monday 12 March 2018.

The project is funded through the Western Australian Bicycle Network Grants Program and administered by the Department of Transport
