Road Rehabilitation Works - Manning Road, Manning

In accordance with the 2017/18 Capital Works Program, the City of South Perth will be undertaking drainage works at the following location:

• Manning Road, Manning - Waterford Avenue to Townsing Drive (Curtin University)
  

The majority of the works will need to be undertaken at night to avoid major disruption of high-volume daytime traffic on Manning Road.  While weather and other factors may influence timing of these works, they are currently scheduled to occur from 19 February to 16 March, between 5pm and 6am Monday to Friday. Day works will be confined to the hours 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

Equipment and vehicle movements may create some noise for adjacent residents. To minimise disturbance to residents as much as possible, an out-of-hours Noise Management Plan has been prepared by the main contractor and approved by the City of South Perth.

For the safety of road users and personnel, temporary lane closures and detours will be implemented on Manning Road between Waterford Avenue and Cygnus Parade.

Road closures and detours during night-work activities  

• Conlon Street will be closed at Manning Road. Access to roads within the 'Waterford Triangle' will be via a detour to/from Lawson Street.
• Townsing Drive access (Curtin University) to/ from Manning Road will be closed.
