Grab a Gladdy Day

News Update 18 September 2017

Pink Gladiolus (Gladiolus caryophyllaceus) is an introduced plant that is now a major weed of bushland areas, competing with native plants for resources.

Events hosted by the City of South Perth and City of Belmont invite community members to help remove the invasive Gladdy from local bushland.

What to bring: Please wear enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather,
and bring gloves, a drink bottle and weed lever if available.

A general level of fitness is required.
