Night works Mill Point Rd Thursday 17 August

As part of Pipes for Perth, Water Corporation has been replacing a water main along Mill Point Road in South Perth. While this work will cause some temporary inconvenience, it will improve the security and reliability of the water supply to property.

Water Corporation will be undertaking night work on Thursday 17 August, between 8pm to 6am, to install a work zone barrier on Mill Point Road from Onslow Street to the bus stop prior to Mends Street.

This work was originally scheduled to take place on Monday 14 August however due to severe weather was rescheduled. 
 
The installation of the barrier will involve closing Mill Point Road westbound from Onslow Road to Mends Street, this includes closing access to the Perth Zoo car park from Mill Point Road. The effected section of Mill Point Road and access to Perth Zoo will be reopened as soon as installation works are completed.
 
Following installation of the work zone barrier, water connection works will commence from Monday to Friday between 7am - 7pm and Saturday 7am - 5pm and are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
 
The City of South Perth and Main Roads WA have approved the works and all directly affected residents and businesses have been informed by the Water Corporation.
