What were the City of South Perth’s average rates last year?
Based on average residential Gross Rental Value ($23,985 or $461 p/w), the average rates for properties in the City of South Perth for the 2016/2017 financial year for rates were $1,568. 

The refuse (rubbish) collection fee for 2016/17 was $272.

The average residential rates, plus refuse fee for the 2016/17 financial year was $1,840.

The Emergency Service Levy (ESL) has not been included as this is a State Tax, each Local Government is required to collect it on behalf of the State. 

What are the City of South Perth’s average rates this year?
Based on average residential Gross Rental Value ($24,9351 or $480 p/w), the average rates for properties in the City of South Perth for the 2017/2018 financial year for rates are $1,635. 

The refuse (rubbish) collection fee for 2016/17 is $280.

The average residential rates, plus refuse for the 2017/18 financial year was $1,915.

The Emergency Service Levy (ESL) has not been included as this is a State Tax, each Local Government is required to collect it on behalf of the State. 

What is the increase/decrease, if any?
