Angelo Street Marketplace attracts record crowds

The City’s annual Angelo Street Marketplace was held on Sunday 26 March 2017 and attracted a record crowd of over 15,000 residents and visitors. 
 
Some of the highlights included; a roaming puppet and artworks by international and local artists as part of the Artwalk presented by 96FM, craft workshops, kids activities and pet traders plus over 100 food vendors and stalls.
 
The performances, fashion shows and live music across five stages kept the crowds entertained throughout the day. Visitors were also able to shop for a bargain or sample the local cuisine from the stores and cafés along Angelo Street.
