Stormwater drainage upgrade on Anstey Street
Drainage works will be carried out along Anstey Street from the week commencing 27 February 2017, weather permitting.
The works will take approximately 2 weeks and are undertaken as part of the City’s stormwater drainage upgrade.
The works will involve the laying of drainage soak wells on the kerb line / verge on Anstey Street between South Terrace and Hensman Street.
The roads will be closed at certain times for traffic and detours may be in place to provide for through traffic at these times. The works will generally be confined to the hours 7am to 4pm, although some activities may extend to approximately 5pm.
Residents with reticulation along the verge are advised that the City may have to alter it, but will ensure that all reticulation is reinstated on completion of the works.
