The stainless steel sculpture is driven by solar energy and will rotate constantly to reflect the intensity of our sky and the new plantings below it.
The Millers Pool artwork is a City commissioned artwork (a requirement of the City's policy P101 Public Art).
The Expression of Interest was sent out in Dec 2015 to all Perth artists. Three artists were shortlisted and invited to develop a concept to present to the Public Art Advisory Panel. The artist team who scored highest when assessed against the selection criteria was Jana Wallace Braddock and Shane Mullins.
