Rehabilitation works on Canavan Crescent in Manning
As part of the 2016/2017 Capital Works Program, the City will be undertaking road rehabilitation works along Canavan Crescent at both Godwin Avenue and Pether Road roundabouts.
Construction works are scheduled to start on 19 January 2017 and will take approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting. During this time there will be traffic management in place. The road will be closed at certain times to traffic and detours will be in place to provide for through traffic. Local traffic will be permitted, but some minor delays may occur. On-street parking will also be restricted to facilitate the works.
Work will generally be confined to the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. However due to high frequency bus services, major works such as asphalt resurfacing will be undertaken on Saturdays and Sundays.
