From its humble beginnings of around 30 students in the Anglican Church Hall in 1916, Como Primary School has grown over the years into a vibrant modern teaching facility with a rich history of community involvement.

In this, its centenary year, Como Primary School and the City of South Perth have worked together to create a digital collection of images and stories.

The City invites the community to contribute to this history compilation. Please contact the City’s Local History Librarian if you would like to have your recollections of time spent learning (or teaching) at Como Primary School included in this collection.

The collection of images can be viewed on the City's Picture South Perthwebsite. This extensive online collection of historic material from the City of South Perth's Local History Collection includes images dating back to the 1870s that showcases the people, places and events that have shaped the City of South Perth.
