The City is seeking Expressions of Interest from members of the community to join its Audit, Risk and Governance Committee and its Property Committee.
Audit, Risk and Governance Committee
The Audit, Risk and Governance Committee meets a minimum of four times per year, and is responsible for oversight of the City’s financial audit, risk management framework, statutory compliance, code of conduct, local laws, policies, delegations and the Australian Business Excellence Framework. The term is for a maximum of two years, commencing January 2017, with remuneration of $750 per meeting. The following skills and experience are required:
- Senior business and/or financial management experience
- Understanding of reporting and compliance requirements
- Understanding of internal and external audit
- Understanding of enterprise risk management.
Property Committee
The Property Committee meets as and when required, and is responsible for the development and implementation of the Property Asset Management Guidelines, pertaining to the City’s property portfolio. The term is for a maximum of one year, commencing January 2017, with remuneration of $750 per meeting. The following skills and experience are required:
- Experience in managing property portfolios
- Experience in property acquisitions, dispositions and investments
- Understanding of property law.
