Out for Comment - Standing Orders Amendment Local Law
The City of South Perth invites comments on proposed amendments to the Standing Orders Local Law 2007.
The purpose of the amendment is to change provisions relating to Public Question Time and to adjust the notice period to ensure Elected Members submit alternative motions in writing to the Chief Executive Officer by 12pm on the day before the Council Meeting.
This will ensure that all Elected Members and members of the public are given the opportunity to view and consider alternative motions prior to the Council meeting.
The feedback period for the above proposed Local Law will close at 5pm, Monday
5 December 2016.
