Winter Park Upgrades

This winter, new trees and waterwise native plants have been planted to complete the park upgrades undertaken as part of the 2015-16 capital works program.

These projects included hydrozoning and ecozoning, and improved access with new paths and seating at:

• Andrew Thompson Reserve, on the Waterford/ Salter Point boundary
• Bradshaw Conochie Reserve, Manning
• Shaftesbury Reserve, South Perth

Andrew Thompson has a new playground and barbecue and picnic area under shady trees by the river.

Bradshaw Conochie has new seating around the existing playground and a multi court with basketball and netball hoops.

Shaftesbury Reserve now has a new flatter lawned area near the existing playground and pretty garden beds and a verge planted with native plants.
