Planet Arc National Tree Day

National Tree Day will be hosted by the City in the Karawara greenways at 9am on Sunday 31 July 2016.

Karawara residents are invited to ‘adopt a tree’ and plant it in the public open spaces of the suburb. The trees that will be planted are common to the area and will provide a natural food supply for Carnaby’s Cockatoos.

The ‘adopt a tree’ project is initiated from the Karawara Public Open Space Collaborative Action Plan 2013, and driven by a small group of local community members working together for a better Karawara.
