Town Planning Scheme No. 6 Amendment Nos. 45 and 48
Notice is hereby given in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that, on 11 November 2015, the Minister for Planning approved City of South Perth Town Planning Scheme No. 6 Amendment No. 45 and Amendment No. 48, for the following purposes:
Modifying clause 5.4 of the Scheme Text by adding a new sub-clause (13) relating to the ‘Southcare’ site in Bickley Crescent, Manning, to introduce site-specific requirements to provide for development of buildings greater than 7.0 metres in height to a maximum of 14 metres in height, provided that performance criteria listed in that sub-clause are met; and rezoning the ‘Southcare’ site from ‘Public Assembly (R20)’ and ‘Residential (R20)’ to ‘Private Institution (R40)’ with additional uses for Shop and Office which are to be incidental to the main uses of the site.
Deleting existing provisions relating to car parking bay and accessway sizes throughout the Scheme Text, and requiring all car bays and accessways to comply with the dimensions specified in Australian Standards AS1890 (as amended from time to time).
