Come along to the 2026 River Guardians Festival - a free, family-friendly morning held on the banks of Derbarl Yerrigan Swan River South Perth. 

Meet local wildlife and conservation groups, enjoy hands-on kids activities with Nature Play WA and discover how you can help protect our rivers and biodiversity with ABC TV and Perth Radio gardening personalities Josh Byrne and Sarina Hahn.

Perfect for young families, this relaxed outdoor event brings together over 15 local organisations offering interactive displays, activities and opportunities to connect with nature. The City will also share information about the upcoming Coode Street Riverbank Restoration project.
