Cultural Plan Alignment
In December 2018, the City adopted its inaugural Cultural Plan 2019-2023.
Goal 6 in the Plan is to provide the community with access to quality public art. A range of actions specific to commissioning quality permanent and temporary public art, managing the City’s collection of public art, and providing access to and information about public art in the City are detailed in the Plan.
Action 6.3 is to continue to implement the City’s Public Art Strategy and Public Art Policies.
The City of South Perth Public Art Masterplan 2022-2025 has recently been developed and implemented in fulfilment of Action 6.1 and supersedes the Public Art Strategy.
