Employee Code of Conduct
The City’s Code of Conduct sets standards of behaviour that employees, volunteers, contractors and agency staff are to observe in relation to their conduct. The code is based on the City’s values being Accountable, Respectful, Supportive and Unified.
Changes to the Local Government Act 1995 require the City to adopt separate Codes of Conduct for Elected Members and employees. Council is required to adopt the Code of Conduct for Elected Members, Committee Members and Candidates, and the Chief Executive Officer is to adopt the Code of Conduct for employees.
