Join the Urban Greening Advisory Group
The City is establishing the Urban Greening Advisory Group to advise and make recommendations on the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Urban Greening Strategy, and is seeking nominations from community members.
The Urban Greening Advisory Group will consist of three Elected Members (councillors), up to five community members, and City Officers (employees).
If you are interested in joining, you must:
- be an elector (be on the electoral roll) of the City of South Perth
- be able to attend an introductory meeting and four meetings per year, likely to be on either Wednesday or Thursday from 4–6pm.
- complete a nomination form, including information on why you want to join the Urban Greening Advisory Group, and the skills and experience that you will bring to the group.
The City is seeking representation from a cross-section of our community who have an interest in influencing the City’s future urban greening. Participation is voluntary/unpaid. The final decision on membership will be made by the CEO of the City of South Perth.
How to Nominate
Nominees can express their interest in the Urban Greening Advisory Group by:
- completing an online nomination form, or
- printing, completing and returning the nomination form below and returning it to the City of South Perth, cnr South Tce & Sandgate St, South Perth 6151.
