City of South Perth Deputy Mayor elected
Councillor André Brender-A-Brandis was elected Deputy Mayor for a two-year term at the first Council Meeting of the newly elected Council on 28 October 2025.
Councillor Brender-A-Brandis represents the Manning Ward and was elected to Council in 2019.
Mayor Greg Milner congratulated Cr Brender-A-Brandis on his appointment.
“I look forward to continuing to work together to serve our community and deliver positive outcomes for the City,” he said.
The City extends its gratitude to outgoing Deputy Mayor, Councillor Bronwyn Waugh, who held the role for the previous two years.
Mayor Milner thanked Cr Waugh, who represents the Como Ward, for her dedication and commitment throughout her time as Deputy Mayor.
