End the school holidays on a high note at the much-loved Southside Summer festival, set to return to Mindeerup at South Perth Foreshore from Wednesday 29 January until Wednesday 5 February.
The free family-friendly event will feature a vibrant mix of roving entertainment, fun activities, live music and thrilling circus shows.
As part of
FRINGE WORLD 2025, Southside Summer promises to deliver a fun-filled day for all ages, with hands-on circus workshops and the chance to meet the talented performers, making for a truly immersive experience for visitors.
City of South Perth Mayor, Greg Milner said Southside Summer provided a wonderful opportunity for the wider community to come together to celebrate the arts.
“Whether you’re watching a live performance, learning a new circus trick or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Southside Summer is the perfect way to wrap up the school holidays,” he said.
“It’s fantastic that we’re able to bring Fringe World, one of Australia’s largest and most exciting arts festivals, to our foreshore – it further establishes our City as a vibrant hub for culture and the arts,” he added.
Mayor Milner encouraged festival-goers to bring their family, a picnic and rug and settle in for a beautiful sunset over the City while taking in the popular festival.
From 6pm each evening, there will be roving entertainment and activities, circus workshops from 6.45pm on select days, and circus performances by FRINGE WORLD award winner ZAP CIRCUS from 7pm daily.
The workshops will run for approximately 30-60 minutes and the performances will run between 35-50 minutes.
