Can you lend a hand at our libraries?

Can you help? Volunteers are needed to help run programs at our libraries. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following:

Old Mill

Do you want to be involved in keeping one of Western Australia's oldest heritage sites open to the public? Our Old Mill volunteers are scheduled monthly on a Saturday or Sunday from 1-4pm.

Volunteer duties include opening and closing the premises, greeting visitors, answering any questions and recording visitor numbers. No specialised knowledge is required however, volunteers should have good communication skills and be able to talk to a wide range of people. Volunteers should be 18 years or over

Time for Play

Do you enjoy working with children and families?  Our Time for Play Volunteers will provide support to local families who join us each week during school term time for our Time for Play sessions. Volunteers will assist our library staff to set up and pack down play resources. Previous experience working with children would be a great advantage. A Working With Children Check is essential for all Volunteers working in this role.
