Playground renewals 2023-2024
Each year, the City of South Perth identifies playgrounds within the City that are due for renewal. These renewals are informed by the Play Space Plan 2022 (PDF, 6.87 MB) and annual playground safety inspections and condition assessments.
The following playgrounds are due for renewal during the 2023/24 financial year:
To help us select new playground equipment, we’d like to know more about the types of play elements you love and the features you’d like to see at the playgrounds.
We’d like to hear from you. If you and your family visit Bill McGrath or Swanview Reserve playgrounds or you live near them, please complete the survey at yoursay.southperth.wa.gov.au/playground-renewals-2023-2024.
The swings at Como Beach near Como Jetty are due for replacement and will be installed in April 2024.
