Supporting our community groups and clubs

We are fortunate to have many wonderful community groups, inspiring individuals and clubs that contribute to our City in immeasurable ways.

We recognise the importance of supporting them and that’s why the City offers funding opportunities across a variety of categories. 

In the past financial year, the City delivered community funding to a host of groups and people who provide positive benefit to our community.

We also invested over $500,000 of grant funding to upgrade floodlights; toilets and change rooms; and cricket nets at local sporting reserves.

Funding highlights

• We invested $533,070 of grant funding to two sports reserve floodlight upgrades, two club changeroom/toilet upgrades and one cricket net facility upgrade
  
• We delivered $6,600 in Individual Grants to 44 applicants
• Our Community Funding Program supported 20 local club and community groups to the tune of $89,000
• We delivered 140 Kidsport vouchers to 139 children, totalling $20,553.
