Proposed Public Places and Local Government Property Amendment Local Law 2020

The City of South Perth invites comments on proposed amendments to the Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2011.

The purpose of the proposed local law is to make amendments to the City of South Perth Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2011 which regulates the care, control and management of property of and under the care, control and management of the City.

The effect of the proposed local law is that some City of South Perth property is set aside for particular uses, some activities are allowed only under a permit or under a determination, and others are restricted or prohibited. The amendments will ensure the City of South Perth Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2011 is consistent with the Public Health Act 2016.

Submissions will be received until 5pm, Friday 2 October 2020.
